I find these to be just as good as the more costly ones, i do recommend this productI needed this for school. It's a bit smaller than expected, but doing it's job.I needed a basic binder- this did the job. It is sturdy and sells for a low price. My materials were neat, organized, and protected. Happy to recommend.I ordered these binders to keep class notes and materials organized, and the binders are perfect. They are sturdy and stand up to being open and closed several times a day, and they stand up to being stacked with other books and shuffled around inside my bag. My only issue is that they are a little smaller than I expected, and I'm not sure they will be big enough for an entire course-long collection of class notes, handouts, and materials. Next time I will order the 1.5 or 2 inch size, especially for courses that are very material-focused.The binder mechanism is great, so far- no snags or pinching, and fairly easy to open and shut.A bonus is that you can slide in paper on both covers and the spine, so you can personalize the binders to match whatever organizing scheme you have going on. I just threw in some patterned paper so I could tell the binders apart and it looks great. Very clean.Highly recommended, but if you need to organize a lot of paper/notes/materials, definitely get a size bigger than you think you'll need. This is a basic binder. This is a basic binder for grown ups. This is not a basic binder for kids. The quality of the binder is fine. Really. It's got plastic pockets in the cover, so you can slide in your own sheet and customize it. It's got small pockets on the inside (both front and back) to slide extra sheets in. It's 1". It's a binder. But, if you take this basic binder and give it to a 4th grader, you will have a mess on your hands in no time.It holds all of the 3-hole-punched school materials beautifully. I got into trouble (yes, me) when the math workbook (not hole punched) was placed in the binder and "slipped out" unnoticed between the desk and the backpack. Several not-hole-punched reports with 20 pages of supporting documentation were stuffed into the front pocket and a spelling notebook (think composition book) was stuffed in the back pocket. Let's just say that those pockets don't hold much of anything any more.I was instructed, by my child, to buy a binder with zippers to keep everything in.We have now retired this perfectly fine, but now much worse for the wear, binder. If you are looking for a binder for a responsible adult who will care for it, not overstuff it, and needs a binder to hold paper...this is a fine binder. If you're looking for a binder for a child who generates a lot of papers and likes to carry around notebooks stuffed into the binder pockets...keep looking.I use these to keep my bank statements , and tax papers in after using a 3 hole paper punch . They are nice with pockets in both inside covers but when they get full they often fail and scatter your papers everywhere . You can only fill them up to about a half of the size . For example you can put about 1/2 inch of papers in a 1 inch binder so all can be on one side of the D ring . Even then sometimes they don't transfer over when you close them well or open up sadly putting your work out of order and bending the rings . I would buy again but put less in them and buy larger ones as required . They are nice for keeping your tax papers in and they fit well in the box Amazon sends them to you in for storage . We just write on them with a black marker to identify and organize what each contains for later viewing . Nice economy binder .Nice product. Using to get all of my art supplies organized. I have purchased this item 2 times to date, total of 24 binders.Yesterday, I found it in my dollar store. The $ store version is approximately 1/4" narrower, measuring the 1 inch spine. The clear plastic coating on the outside stops about 1/2" short of the top of the $ store binder, whereas these binders have the plastic coating all the way to the top.The $ store binder has pockets on each inside section, which are about 3 1/2" high. These binders have pockets also, but they are 4" high. The $ store binder feels a little bit heavier than these binders, so maybe it's a little more durable. For the price, I'll buy the $ store version. The slight differences may be important to other consumers, depending upon their usage needs. This is exactly as it says, a basic binder. It is not the best quality and not the worst. The price of this binder was actually decent and in line, which is why we made it our choice. We could not find a cute three-ring binder for our grandson's preschool homework, so we opted for this one that he could change the picture in and make it whatever he wanted. It is perfectly functional for that. It is holding up well and is working as we hoped. Would I purchase this again? It would depend what the project or use were to be. I would not purchase it for an often-used purpose, but maybe otherwise. The price is good and the quality is basic and not bad.Based on images i thought this binder would be perfect to file the A4 sheets. but that was not the case when i saw that it was actually a mini binder. presently the product is useless...i have to figure out some polyenvelopes that could fit inside this binder in order to use it..till them money blocked. When pdts are sold internationally, their images should also justify the appropriate sizes of international std or description.ayeshaGood quality binders (I've had them for about a year and I carry them around multiple times a week to class and they look pretty much new!) Came in quick, good investment if you want good binders.Great quality binderGot the binders. Look great but they have marks all over them! Looks like they came from a dirty warehouse. I refunded.they are great binders, but they arent very durable, if you are planning to use these infrequently then id suggest these! also they have cover slips for the front and back which are great for the price!
