I have been meticulously sorting, sleeving, and storing my collectible cards for years, but they always ended up in some manner of narrow cardboard box. This was more than adequate in terms of storage space and a collector's peace of mind, but I could hardly enjoy my collection on a regular basis when inspecting a particular card required digging blindly into long rows of sleeved cards. The alternative - card binders or portfolios - didn't seem all that promising. Would my cards fall out? Would it scratch or bend my cards? Would it be less convenient to organize them? I didn't feel binders were worth the trouble of transferring a decent-sized and cherished card collection over to them. That is, until now. The Ultra Pro Pro-Binder fits all of my needs as a card collector. The individual pockets hold cards securely (despite the ample room around unsleeved Yu-Gi-Oh! commons), each page has 9 pockets on both front and back (so I don't have to place naked cards directly back to back to save space), and there doesn't seem to be any undue pressure exerted on any of the cards by the way the binder or its pages sit. The binder appears well-made, the elastic band that secures the binder is a nice touch, and I don't have to worry about potential issues with rust since the Ultra Pro Pro-Binder doesn't employ metal components like 3-ring binders. The pages are not removable, but I was satisfied with my decision to leave at least one full page (18 pockets) empty between different types of cards (my collection isn't growing like it once did, so I feel this will be acceptable long term). The best part, of course, is that - unlike my troublesome quest through a card box - I can easily flip open the binder should I feel the need to examine a particular Fiend monster or perhaps an Amazoness Paladin. I like the binder so much that I intend to eventually order several more in varying colors; I've ordered a green one already.I own two Ultra Pro Pro-Binders and one Monster binder. Everything is pretty much the same on bother binders but here are TWO crucial (in my opinion) details about an Ultra Pro Pro-Binder and a Monster one.Ultra Pro Pro-Binder:- It has a good amount of room between the cards and where the page folds. You never have to worry about your cards getting damaged because the card holder is to close to where the page folds. Monster, on the other hand, place the card holder a little to close for comfort to the spine of the binder; some of my cards have been slightly folded that way.Monster Binder:- It's a little more suited for Yu-Gi-Oh! cards than the Ultra Pro Pro-Binder. Don't get me wrong, they both can hold MTG as well as Yu-Gi-Oh! but Monster binders have little stubs (I guess that what they're called) that prevent smaller gaming cards from falling out. I have never had a card fall out of the Ultra Pro Pro-Binder but they have more wiggle room than in the Monster binder.I hope this helps!I have several card collections: X-Men, Pokemon, and Football. My cards are in card sleeves that hold 9 cards or 18 if you double up in your typical 3-ring binder. I got this because the binder holding my cards were breaking apart and needed something new.Pro:- Material is durable and the closing strap gives it a nice touch- Cards do not touch when you fill both sides of the sleeve. Each side of the sheet is divided by a black cloth like material. So the cards never touch like in your typical card sleeves- The cards are inserted horizontal - less likely to fall out. Big plus from using the old sleeves- You are able to fit an individual card protector sleeve and still fit in in the card hold. (Not the individual plastic card case)- Variety of colors to keep for binderCons- NONEIt's great to have a binder that actually holds up and is well designed. It's flexible and light and I love that the slots / pockets' openings are on the sides instead of on top so I don't have to worry about anything slipping out. I just purchased some Fire Emblem cards and placed them in - I shook the book around to test it and none of the unsleeved or sleeved cards fell out. This is the best binder I have ever found, it seems like it'll hold up much better than the many other brands I have purchased in the past. Definitely will be ordering a lot more! :3 I used to collect Yugioh Cards but stopped when I just wasn't finding a decent place to put them, same with Pokémon cards I had. Now, this binder has restored my desire to collect again! These are great binders, I've got several of them in different colors. Cheaper than the Monster binders, but still very substantial and well-made. I can store 3 to 4 individually sleeved cards in each pocket - sleeves being game sleeves or penny sleeves. Each page is textured and high friction to prevent cards from slipping around. Also the plastic over the pockets open to the left and right sides instead of vertically - preventing cards from sliding out of the top of the binder when being carried around. Pages are bound tight in the center via plastic as opposed to the d-ring style, which makes it easier to turn the pages and preventing cards from getting stuck and bent as they tend to do on d-ring pages. The covers are a thick sturdy plastic and stay closed with a fabric elastic band that holds up well. Highly recommended for protecting and storing Magic cards.Simple, stylish, elegant. These are the words people will attribute to your card collection when you showcase it with this Ultra Pro 0-Pocket White PRO-Binder. It's clean, sturdy and easy to use. And it really does help a collection look good.Ultra-Pro has slowly made it's way to the top tiers of trading card supplies, and their binders seem to only get better in quality each time I buy them. The pages are uniform, and the seals are pretty strong; I haven't had any pages tear on me in the past two years. Highly recommended!Excellent product and great price. Highly recommended.Nice quality, useful for storing collective cards like Pokemon! An excellent high quality binder for your card collections. Cards fit securely in the binder and it looks great!
