A little big but it does hold 4 in a row vs 3 in a row like other binders so that’s a plus. The materials for the binder looks and feels like good quality. Overall I’m happy that I bought it.I used for my pokemon cards, ILike everything about it, not a single bad thing as of now.Good side loading card binder I used to store my pokemon/ Yugioh cards, but the zipper doesn’t close all the way and leaves a tiny gap… To combat dust getting in, I just stand the binder upside down.Overall good but the quality is not there for the price. On amazons part the binder came in damaged. This 12 pocket binder is nice to the eyes and touch. Zipper is accented with a green tab and feels like it’ll last a long time, no matter how many times you zip and unzip the binder. Heavy duty, thick binder. Not like those plastic flimsy binders. But the issue I had was the sleeves bulged. I double sleeve my cards and then put them in the binder. Some would say that’s over kill, but whatever. Besides the pages bulging a bit, it’s still a great binder with security and toughness in mind. Attached are some pictures. The first one is zipped up with 90% of pages filled double sleeved. The 2nd picture shows the bulge in the very first page. The 3rd picture shows a small bulge halfway through the binder. The 4th picture shows the bulge to the left side, that’s about 8 pages away from the end. So maybe if i didn’t double sleeve the cards and single sleeves them, it wouldn’t bulge as bad. I might try another brand of 12 sleeve binder. Just to compare. But I would recommend this to anyone.Ordered this binder to put my Pokemon TCG master sets in.After a week or two I opened it up to grab out a card I needed to finish a deck. This happened to be a Holo + Rare card...Sadly, this binder's plastic holders crimped the top of the card horribly. It went from a NM condition to Damaged - because the cards can slide under the card holders easily.Leading to card crimping when the binder is closed for storage.Great binder - but wouldn't put any good / NM / high value cards within.I bought a couple of these maybe a year ago and absolutely loved them. I just ordered 2 more and they changed something with the plastic on the pages. They're super clingy, you can feel it and hear it immediately as it is very squeaky. Putting sleeved cards in is a pain as they stick as they go in. You have to kinda force it risking bending the card. Overall still a nice binder for the price but, I don't know if I'll get anymore. This is the Lexus of binders. The McClaren of protectors. The Lamborghini of collecting. Okay, I think you get it. Smoothest pages in the game. *chefs kiss* perfect. So, like many of you, I recently started sorting through my 20+year old Pokémon cards, the folder they were in was the same one I got with them in 1999, and the plastic pockets had seen better days.I desperately needed a new folder for them to keep them in a half decent condition.I decided to go for the 12 pocket eXo-Tec Zip Binder - and i do not regret my decision. Initially I was a tad apprehensive as to whether I should buy the folder as it was one of the more expensive ones that Vault X had. However I'm pleased I did.ProsSide loading pockets - this works nicely to ensure your cards wont be spilling out the top of the folder if you happen to turn it upside down (definitely had that issue with my old one).Zip - The zip seems to be a really solid, quality zip and keeps the binder together nicely. I went for this over the strap binder as I felt it would be more secure. It also adds an extra layer of protection in the off chance you spill or drop anything on top of the folder. The Binder Material - The entire build of the folder feels top quality, the material is sturdy enough to keep everything secure, but not abrasive as to damage the contents, the same goes for the material that the pages are actually made out of - ensuring that your cards shouldn't get scratched (you still have to be careful as you would in any case). The Pockets - As mentioned previously, the side loading prevents the cards from falling out of the binder and the material should stop cards from getting scratched. They are large enough to fit a card in that has been stored in a plastic sleeve, keeping them extra safe from scratches/damage.ConsThe only downside I found was that a few of the pockets nearer to the centre of the folder seemed a very snug fit and proved a slightly bigger challenge to insert and remove cards from - however this was such a minor thing it's not something that will ruin the folder.Final Point - this is a great folder for storing your collectable trading cards, the design is clean and feels really secure. If you are looking for a binder to PROTECT and SHOW OFF your cards this is definitely worth the purchase (I actually bought a second folder as I filled the first one up and was very pleased with the first). However I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning on regularly taking your cards out to use them in competitions etc as I feel you would need more accessibility to be able to remove the cards more easily. Thanks for reading and I hope this has been a helpful insight in to the binder. This is the best binder - that's not hyperbole, it really is.Yes, this is quite pricey...but this is the premium version (with the zip), the standard folding binder is much cheaper and having purchased both, I can say this one is much nicer but both do the trick!I can only speak to my experience using Pokemon cards, and for that purpose I cannot fault this product at all. You can store plenty of cards in this, without it feeling cramped or the binder starting to bend/wear as a result (the folded version is a bit worse at that!) and you can rest assured that they're safe and secure...even when you put certain cards in sleeves, they still fit comfortably. If you're a Pokemon fan, these binders are a must and thankfully due to the size usually fit an entire set, sometimes two! including secret cards, etc. I would advise getting the 12-pocket option over any of the smaller ones, unless you know exactly what you want to store. Not much else to say, I highly recommend and if you can't get one because stock is low, I would recommend waiting rather than getting another brand, as in my experience they're just not as good.My biggest complaint - there's never enough stock! But I suppose that's a result of more collectors getting into this hobby, especially due to COVID...what else are you going to do?Vault-X products are always such great quality.I had an issue with one of my folders so I e-mailed vault-x directly and they quickly solved the issue. One of the best customer services I have ever received!I have a fair few vault-x folders (mostly premium exo ones)Cover has a nice feel and is extremely sturdy. The pockets inside are all crispy clear and allow for easy viewing of cards. As for placing and removing cards, very easy to do both and cards are held securely in place and do not move about. The zip allows for cards to stay extra safe and stops dust, or in my case, cat hair from entering the binder.Vault-X is a top brand and I will be purchasing more.Best binder that I have ever bought. It is big, sturdy and it can hold lot of cards. Plus, the zipper helps to prevent dust getting inside the binder and the cards . The pockets inside are big enough to hold single sleeved cards as well. Suitable for Magic the gathering cards, Pokémon cards and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards( the latter ones though are a bit smaller that MTG and Pokémon cards so there should be no issue fitting there).Excellent product. I opted for the more expensive one in the range with a zipper. My daughter has been collect these cards for a year and we realised her other folder only had 360 slots (also by this company) and her collection is 420 so i git her this one. Its a lot sturdier and with the zipper it keeps things in place. I bought little stickers to number each pocket so she can fill them up herself and knows whats missing.
