The binder is not exactly as pictured. Other reviews reference an older picture (I can only assume) in which four binders are pictured. In the current picture there is one binder and everything is the same except the placement of the rings. The product I received has the rings attached to the back board, not the spine. The picture has the rings attached to the spine. I was looking for binders that fit in a filing cabinet. The binders I have that fit had the rings on the spine and those that didn't have the rings on the back. However, this binder still does fit. It is not too large to fit in a filing cabinet.It's exactly what it says it is. A dark blue three ring binder. I think it is cardboard covered in plastic but so far it has held up well. It has a clear pocket on the inside of the front and back covers but the pockets are very thin and I can only fit an envelope or a couple of sheets of paper into the them. No frills but cheap and does the job.I use these as photo albums for 8x10 photos. They're sturdier than ones you'll find at local stores and cheaper than the ones labeled as photo albums. They're black and thus look like portfolios.What I received is NOT what is represented. I have used Wilson Jones binders for years as they are (or were) always quality products. These are not quality but cheap ripoffs! I doubt they really are Wilson Jones products. Thank goodness for Amazon Customer Service in getting a quick refund. The best customer service!It is cheap. I don't like the color as it is darker than the picture. And the rings are on the back, not on the spine. But it basically works fine as I just need a simple binder to hold all my notes at home. So if you don't care the color or the position of the rings, I will recommend it.They’re really just average binders. I didn’t want to fight the store crowds to find school supplies, so I bought most on Amazon. They’re nothing special, but they hold up as much as you’d expect from a binder being drug out of and shoved back into a teenager’s backpack. Ifyou don’t want to visit multiple stores to find the size and color you need, this is a great way to go.Great price!This product is the perfect size for my TESOL Class. It fits my notes and looks beautiful with my color coded dividers.I love that the rings pop open easily and always click back into the right place--no openings/chances for my pages to rip at the hole punch. I only wish the binder had folder pockets on each end, that would have been a plus. Otherwise, it fit all of my needs and was good quality for an awesome price. Buy it!I use these to organize sales materials for my company. I was worried that these binders would be poor quality because of the price. I'm pleased to say that they are just as good as any 1 inch binder that I have purchased at full retail price from Staples, OfficeMax, etc. Very standard construction, nice solid even black color, clean and sufficiently sturdy. The clear pockets on the inside seem to hold their shape pretty well. I will definitely buy these again when I need more.Very pleased with this purchase.Not like pic, but still like it
