I bought the "A6" version of this Cagie 6-ring binder. As a forward, yes, this is a much cheaper option for an approx. personal size 6-ring binder. So, be mindful that you get what you pay for. The "A6" option is not a true A6; and while the binder will fit personal size paper/inserts, the included paper is not actually personal size.Binder/Cover: The fake leather is smooth, but feels extremely cheap. There are definitely better fake leather products with much better feel, quality, and texture. This cover feels fragile in the way that it could be marked easily. And since it is not real leather, I'm pretty sure any marks or tears will look terrible. The buckle strap seems to keep the binder closed, for now.Inside Cover: There are 3 horizontal pockets and 1 vertical pocket on the inside of the front cover. The back cover has nothing. The pen loop isn't great. It is made out of the same cheap, fake leather and is, thus, very flimsy. Additionally, the pen loop opening isn't generous; and if you have a pen with any grip material on it, chances are that it won't fit or will get stuck. If you're using a cheap, slim pen, then it might be great for you.Rings: The rings seem fine and fairly standard for cheap rings. I cannot make any comment or prediction on how they'll hold up.Included Paper: This is my biggest issue. For some reason, all over Amazon, what are actually Personal Size binders are advertised as "A6". None of them are true A6 binders. First strike with bad industry practices. But, I figured that if the binder size was personal, the paper size should also have the standard personal size dimensions. Not the case. The paper included with this binder is 4.1" x 6.9", not the standard personal size of 3.75" x 6.75" or even personal wide with a width of 4.75". So, I have no idea what this size is. I suppose Cagie is trying to make their own standard size? Regardless, second strike there.Just be aware that any dividers/dashboards you buy will not be wide enough to be seen beyond the included pages IF you buy personal size dividers/dashboards. Ditto if you have old inserts you wanted to mix with the included paper. Also, a small gripe with the included paper is that the word "Cagie" is printed at the top right corner on EVERY page, front and back. That branding decision is irritating and can also get in the way of spread layouts. From the pic on Amazon I thought the item would have a pleather look to it (I bought thebrown one) but the cover is a cheap vinyl. That being said it seems solid - the ring mechanism works well - and I really like the look of the closure. Another plus is the high-quality lined pages that are included.Excelente producto.I wanted a way to keep notes, journal, but also re-arrange as desired. Great size and it’s keeping me organized.l, and looks great. I highly recommend.Came packaged like a gift in a quality box. I like the strap and latch. Slides real smoothly. Not a magnetic or snap clasp. Cover protects the pages, tabs and everything in it. Very happy with purchase. It should last a really long time. I’m not hard on the binder. My 13 yr. old granddaughter wanted a journal for Christmas. I chose this journal after lots of research. She loves it. It's sturdy, looks so elegant, different and refill pages are available to provide her with ability to be creative with her entries. This binder journal is decent quality for the price, I just wish it came with more pages, and there is no extra pages included.I purchased this item when it was on sale thinking that it was normally overpriced; however, after recieving this item, I change that viewpoint. I was not sure what the quality of this book would look like, but I am very satisfied with the item that I received. It is well constructed/crafted, and would be great for for both office work and field work. It is larger than I expected it would be, bit it is not too big to use. Keep in mind, however, that I did not check the product dimensions before buying this product. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for just about anything.PS: It is worth noting that it did not come with any sort of nice pen or writing utensil. It consists of just the journal and the pages.
