I have boobs and don't like how they look. Sports bras and tight undershirts weren't doing it for me in terms of compression, so I decided to buy a binder. In the past any kind of bra has been suffocating for me. I was worried I wouldn't be able to handle a binder, so I chose these for their comfortable reputation.Pros: compared to my tightest sports bra (which is the right size) the binder is very comfortable and great for walking in. I was expecting so much worse after all I'd heard about binders and my own experiences with sports bras and regular bras. With my tightest sports bra, I feel claustrophobic, breathless, and trapped and I can't do any kind of exercise. With this, I felt like I was just wearing a tight undershirt. It's really comfortable overall, I can pull it on and off over my head and it feels great.Cons: If I'm not wearing the right clothing, it is still obvious I have boobs. That's probably a given if I'm staying on the safer side, though.I did find when pushing my boobs around inside the binder they'd ache afterward, but that was probably because I was pushing them around and stretching them.I also couldn't really gasp for air in a way that expanded my rib cage a ton. (I was gasping for air because I was walking quickly in cold air, and I have athsma. It was incredible that I was even able to walk quickly and feel pretty good while wearing something that flattened my chest.)it's super comfortable and does a ton considering that.
