I just wanted to leave a review I've been using this item around 2 years now. I bought quite a few in that time and this company has been really good with replacement item when the same comes apart it happens once in a blue moon. I'm living with three hernias I need a fifth turning operation but it seems like this medical industry can't get it right. For a higher hernia a right side hernia and a belly butt hernia it's really supportive. I've gone from 58 inch around my stomach all the way down to 46. I'm impressed with the new one they put some stabilizers in the back area and that helps stop the 12 in from rolling and staying up. I know it's truly not intended for this year's most of the post surgery. But when your back's against the wall it works great to survive life. update I'm loving the new version with the little support on the side in the back.I purchased this band because I needed extra support for a hernia. I ordered what I thought would be the size I would need. Thinking I would need a bit larger size to accommodate for my hernia I was wrong. I needed the size smaller. But come to find out that I can’t return this item to exchange for the correct size. That sucks. So I will never do business with this company anymore. I suggest you don’t either. I’m addition to the non return policy the recovery binder has the plastic ribs that keep coming out all the time as your wearing it. I guess they are designed to hold the band up from you waist to give it more support but they constantly slide out and I find myself fight with that all the time.I wasn’t impressed at all with this product. It's good for what I need it for.I should had listen to the reviews. Yes, it rolls on the top and bottom and my waist is 40 inches. And you can't return it $38 dollars downs the drain. Very uncomfortable. Buyer beware.Even after reading other reviews, I still ended up ordering a size that was too small and had to send it back. The small said it would fit up to a 34" waist. I am a dead on 34" waist and I had to suck in my gut to get the velcro to close. These are not pull over type girdles but wrap around and hold with velcro and are adjustable. The problem is, even though I wanted a tight fit, with it being that tight, the velcro would not hold and no I am not over weight. I re-ordered the medium which is supposed to fit up to a 38" waist.I liked the design of the product that is why I am re-ordering, however since I have not used it long enough to need to wash it, not sure how long it will last before it no longer stays closed like other products I have tried. So basically for now, I am warning about the size. ( Look at the 4 photos to the left of the product description, one of them is a size chart ) My opinion is, if your waist is at the end of the size listed, pick the next size up since it is adjustable. I would say don't get the small unless you have a 32 or less waist. Not great. I returned for a different style. This one bends in the middle due to the 2 straps so support was not good. And the Velcro only works if you are exactly in the measurements they have listed. If it just fits and you loose weight or it gets stretched out and you need it tighter.. it won’t work because the Velcro does not work all the way around. So that was another reason I returned for another brand. The only complaint I had was this item ITA-MED Elastic Abdominal Binder, 3 Panels, still manages to roll at the top and the bottom. Perhaps if plastic inserts were inserted it would stop it. IAnyone who isn't flat as a board, or has a bit of roll around their waistline - it will roll... but all in all, it is worth it. You can breathe and wrap it as tight or loose as you want. See, I lost a lot of weight... as a male my breast need to be surgically reduced I can not afford it... so I use this... it would work for transgender females to males too... until your chest surgery was done... It's great for the waistline but if you aren't flat and have any rolls tires on the sides it will roll. Also, guys with a small beer belly... it would make oyu look great! Just make the size chart larger and more easier to click on... delivery is fast!It did an ok job.. Wasn't as good as the one I had gotten from the hospital after my surgery but at least it didn't fall apart like that one did. I had complications after my hernia surgery so I had to purchase a new one hopefully this did the job. I go back for my checkup today so I guess I'll find out. This abdominal band DID NOT fall apart even after washing it a few times.my only wish is that it would have been a little wider and a little stronger because it seems to me after you wear it for so long it just isn't as strong as it was as is supposed to be. It did it's jobs and hopefully I won't have to wear it after I see my doctor today. It's been 2 very long months and I'm ready to take this off and put it away for a very very long time lol!!!!!I have an abdominal hernia so tends to make me look as though I have a beer belly. It holds it in and gives it support. It is comfortable and you tend to forget you have got it on. It does not roll up like some others do. I got it while it was on offer so only paid just over £ 11 for it instead of the normal priceHaving tried about 9-10 belts, At last, a belt that is supportive and breathable and does not ride or curl up the back or waistline. This item has been very useful for a family member with a post operative hernia. It was easy to fit and very comfortable whilst not being too tight and restrictive like some orthotics for this purpose.Bought for my dad, excellent and very fast delivery. He hasn't tried it yet but I'm sure he will have positive things to say.I bought this for my mother, she is a pretty big woman but it fits perfect, and she is very happy with it. The quality seems very very good.
