Overall, I'm really happy with this binder. However, when I was looking for a zippered binder to purchase, the existing reviews weren't helping me decide because they were very vague. I'll break down the pros and cons so you can decide if this one is right for you. I would definitely buy this product again, but there are some things that I wish would be improved.PROS:+ Made of high quality outer fabric with a sturdy zipper. I worried that it would be thin or flimsy (based on some reviews), but that's not the case at all. It seems like it's built for abuse--which is what I needed because I like to toss it into my car or on the ground. I want the contents to be protected, and so far, this binder is doing the job well. I purchased the black binder so that it wouldn't show wear, and so far it looks great.+ Very roomy. I put all of my documents into top-loading page protectors and they fit inside with no issue. There is also a file pocket where I keep a letter-sized notepad and a zippered pouch with all of my pens/supplies.+ Loops for pens inside the cover. I keep a pen, mechanical pencil, and sharpie in the 3 loops so I have them available for quick access. I do, however, wish that the loops were sewn so that the pens slid in vertically instead of horizontally. The direction that the pens go in means that I'm frequently knocking them out of their loops...kinda counterproductive to keeping your pens in place!CONS- The zippered mesh pock on the inside cover is basically useless. The pocket is not gusseted, but instead is sewn flat to the cover, so if you put something in there, you'd better have very tiny hands if you ever hope to be able to fish it back out! I put some extra pens in there, but had so much trouble trying to get them back out that I decided it was totally impractical. I ended up getting a zippered pencil pouch and sliding it into the file folder compartment, which works fine for my needs. But you might be wondering why I didn't get a pencil pouch that I could clip into the 3-rings...that's because it wouldn't fit (i.e. I couldn't zip the binder closed if I added a pencil pouch because it would stick out past the zippered edge). If you use a smaller pencil pouch, you'd be fine.- Similar to the pencil pouch issue, you can only use tabbed dividers if you aren't also using page protectors. Top loading page protectors stick further than a normal hole-punched piece of paper would, obviously. It's about the same distance that a tabbed divider sticks out. So yes, dividers DO fit in this binder. But if you want your tabs to stick out past a plastic page protector, it won't fit (i.e. you won't be able to zip the binder shut). This isn't a defect...this is a matter of my personal wish list not being met. However, I've never found a binder that will do this, so it's really not a big deal.- The zipper is not the best design. The binder zips around three sides. When you open the binder, the zipper retreats into the spine so that the binder can open wide and flat. But digging the zipper pull back out is kind of irritating. Not enough for me not to like this binder, but enough to be an annoyance. Also, when you zip the binder up, you have to make sure you zip it all the way to end of the top edge, and you have to be intentional about this otherwise the zipper could creep back open. Again, only a minor annoyance because I have to take extra time to pay attention to something that I would prefer to just work automatically...but certainly not a major issue.I had one of these for middle school and one for the university and they are the greatestMany pockets. I use it to keep my papers and resources organized when I’m meeting with clients. It looks professional enough and is very sturdy. I wish it had straps but I could probably add some. It’s a little bulky to hold while talking to clients but its still worth every penny.Using for documents needed every work day in the outdoors. material is durable.I bought this binder cause my old school binder (the type you typically see with the front and back cover sleeves for personalization) was old and I needed something that allowed me to put all my supplies in one place. I explored different options and opted for this binder since it was for school environments. I would prefer having more pocket space in general so I don't have to dump a lot of my stuff into my bag, I nevertheless like this binder and recommend it for anyone who needs a school binder. The accordion folder part of this binder is especially useful for me since I get a lot of papers back from my instructors. The pen/pencil holders could be a little looser for bigger writing items to slip in more easily. Front pocket and inside pockets are a little tight too but are otherwise doing as intended, just containing less space to put more things in.All in all, great product. This is great. It's just what I needed. It's not as elegant as the leather portfolio style binders but what it lacks in style it makes up for in durability and versatility. Lots of places to organize things.1 small critique is I wash the front was flat. I have no use for that extra pouch on the front cover and it just adds unnecessary bulk and takes away from the aesthetic in my opinion. It's an otherwise awesome binder and I'm glad I picked it.Very sturdy. A tiny bit bulky. The outer zippered section is as useful as I had thought it would me, but it could be handy for small items you want to keep close. I purchased this primarily to carry my drawings and art supplies. The accordion pocket fits quite a bit. I store finished pieces, my larger watercolor tin and some stencils in it. I also fit 2 folders with assorted paper, my Fiskars portable paper trimmer and various pens, pencils and erasers in the main area and inner pocket. The zipper works really well. Perhaps I was expecting too much, hut I feel the zippered edge should he deeper as I can fit a lot, but sometimes must remove things to get it to close. One day I'll write a review for a product that has impressed the hell out of me, but today is not that day.I used Five Star products all through high school and college when they were produced by Mead (which now, apparently, is an Acco brand). Those folders lasted through hell and back with nary a hiccup. What has happened?AVOID THIS BINDER like the plague. It came out of the box with the zipper as you see it. I requested an exchange, and then thought better of it after seeing may other reviewers with the same issue. I do not know how these are rated so highly - I have literally never held such a cheap feeling binder in my life. The fabric covering feels cheap and loose, it's lighter than an Avery 1" binder so there is no way there is a single quality component in this thing, and why oh why did Acco choose to cheap out so hard on the zipper part of a zipper binder? If a company is too stupid to even try on the most important feature of a particular product, then I don't even know what to say.I would do a deep dive, because I was willing to give this product the benefit of the doubt. I knew I'd be returning it, but decided to give a closer look. That's when I noticed the overall shodiness and the fact that numerous threads were already fraying. And there was a weird stain inside. A quick, one second glance told me that this was the cheapest piece of crap product (at any product) that I've purchased in years.STAY AWAY! HEED MY WARNING LEST YE BE CURSED AS WELL!Su gran falla es el cierre en la parte superior, no cierra completamente.
